This part of Lincoln Road was hidden away by the express way’s creation. People around here still remember what it was like before US 131 was built. It’s unclear to me if this area is reforestation by Consumers or the Manistee National Forest. Either way, I don’t think it is used much. The land owners here must love having a forest all to themselves. For your own safety, stay clear during hunting season.
