Geocache Description:

The Quilt Block Series will be a series of 30 caches that are mostly on back roads in President Township.  Some of the roads are posted "No Winter Maintenance."  All of the hides should be quick finds and there are pull-offs close-by each cache.  There is not alot of traffic on these roads, but please be careful when caching with children.

Bow Tie

The Bow Tie block dates back to the American west being settled.  It has also been called the Hourglass or Necktie Block.

The term quilt refers to the practice of creating a top, adding batting and a backing. The 3 layers are then sewn together to keep the batting from shifting in the center.
