Not really a boot. A cache that was inspired by locating the virtual Palindrome cache. I found this park as a result.
The listed coordinates are not the actual coordinates of the cache. They are a palindrome (and hey look, so is the title of the cache!). The actual coordinates of the cache are in the same park as the palindrome coordinates.
Your job is to figure out the actual coordinates using the smallest two digit numerical palindrome (call it s2) as a base.
- For the longitude: Multiply s2 by 2 and subtract that from the given palindrome longitude.
- For the latitude: Multiply s2 by 9 and add that to the given palindrome latitude.
Did you notice that you're substracting/adding palindromes from/to palindromes?
You can make the extra effort after finding this cache to locate the coordinates I used to log EraSeek's A Cache of Palindromes. Be careful if you do, it is a bit off the main trail.
Container is about the size of a 1 quart mason jar.
Parking will be an issue in the neighborhood at this undeveloped nature park.
Students of the nearby school may find an alternate track to the park entrance.
Alternate title, until I decided on the palindrome: Morer or Lesser.
