In 1951, Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing came to Canada. Shortly after, they were filling orders for tapes, adhesives & abrasives. In 1982, 3M began construction of a "scotchcote" plant on 40 acres in Morden. They expanded in 1991 & in 2006, to include an upgrade in production capabilities. 3M has, and continues to be, a great asset to the City of Morden.
