The place is located near Clermont Ferrand, city of the Arvernes tribe. On this place Vercingetorix chief of the Gallish armies defeated Jules Cesar general of the Roman army.

I) Allez au point de coordonnées N 45°43.261 E 003°07.613. Vous trouverez un monument en mémoire de Vercingétorix. Sur ce monument vous trouverez la citation :
