Toby's First Float Plane Ride Multi-Cache
Dogliest: I discovered the bench with the clue on it was replaced by a bench without the clue, so this is no longer solvable. Plus a tree ate the cache container. These are signs the cache is done. But it will be rebooted soon with a different cache.

#3 The Dogliest Detective and the Case of the Poacher's Stash
Toby had finally settled into his job with the Alaska Consulting Detectives Agency and was excited to be going on his first float plane ride. He had just bought new Alaska-tuff red rubber booties, packed his lunch, and arrived at the float plane dock early, all in anticipation of a hunt for poachers in the bush.
The Game Wardens arrived next, and Toby chatted them up until Toby's boss, Captain McGruff, finally arrived. Then the Game Warden Sergeant briefed them on their mission.
"Based on an anonymous tip, we arrested some poachers in the main airport terminal, but we are missing key evidence they must have hidden. Their GPS clearly showed they came to this spot, where they must have pulled out the GPS batteries, boarded a float plane, flew to the brown bear feeding spot, and committed their crimes."
"We also intercepted some cryptic transmissions we think might help us find their stash in a hollow tree at the bear feeding area. We need detectives to help figure out the clues and find the missing evidence they must have hidden."
"Once we land, we will split up and look for some object that supposedly holds cryptic clues to their stash. Something about 'follow one of the many curved arrows pointed in different directions' and 'take five steps for every petal of every iron flower'. Even if we find whatever the clues are talking about, how will we know which arrow to follow? That is why we are happy to have Toby to help us out."
Captain McGruff immediately responded, "Toby is just here to assist me and to try to learn something." He drank the last of his coffee mug and threw it into the water, ordering "Fetch Toby, fetch!" Toby lowered his ears and tail, considering his options and dry booties. "You don't want to get wet, Toby?" said Captain McGruff. "Then you aren't ready for a job like this. You better stay behind and not take up space in the float plane."
The Game Wardens and pilot rolled their eyes and felt awkward, but they had to leave Toby at the lake shore. Toby watched the others take off, and then hung around for a while and dreamed of how the day could have turned out with his first float plane ride and his first mystery in the wilderness.
After an hour of sitting around moping and watching planes take off, Toby's tail suddenly started wagging as he realized the mystery was not out in the wilderness. By noon, he was eating his sack lunch with the Crime Scene Investigation team as they collected the missing evidence. Toby even found the coffee mug after it had washed ashore and put it to good use.
Later that evening, the Game Wardens returned and took Toby on his first float plane ride to familiarize him with the local area, as they knew they would be hiring him again. And Toby's booties stayed dry all day.
