For me cemeteries are places I enjoy visiting. They evoke memories of eras gone by and help me reflect on my own life and the lives of those before me. I enjoy looking at the masonary work on graves and often speculate and make up stories about the lives that these people may have lived.
I was initially surprised to discover how large this cemetery was but after reading the history of Clunes and visting here on several occasions I shouldn't be that shocked really. Enjoy your wander through this peaceful place.
