This geocache is located in the Lake Elmo Park Reserve. A daily fee or yearly sticker is required to enter in a vehicle. Entrance is free the first (non-holiday) Tuesday of each month. The cache is hidden out on the far end of Eagle Point. There are some maintained trails that will get you part of the way and then some animal trails to follow. When the lake is high this area will be under some water. Total distance from parking area to cache and back is about 0.8 miles. I enjoyed the peacefulness of this part of the park. Getting to this one may require some waterproof boots, muck boots or waders depending on how high the lake is. Parking is available in the Eagle Point Lake Trailhead parking lot.
