We will start at 08h30 with a quick cup of coffee and rusk or two before setting out on the trail. We will provide the coffee and rusks. The event will end at 17h00.
For those interested in joining this working party there are fourteen caches and six different cache types along the way that can be found (it's not all work and no play!). As can be seen from the terrain rating a reasonable degree of fitness is required.
Some important things to take note of:
1) Please bring your own mugs.
2) Bring along some secateurs (pruning shears) or slasher or hedge clippers or panga etc. for your own use to clear the overgrowth.
3) Long pants, long sleeves, hats, sunscreen, bug spray and gloves are recommended.
4) Bring snacks, refreshments and drinking water (minimum 2 liters each) for your hike.
5) Light rain/drizzle/mist will not cancel the event so pack in a raincoat. (In this case we will up the terrain by 1 star!).
6) And as always, bring your Geocaching equipment!
7) Log your "will attend" and the number of persons in your party.
We will meet at the picnic area (listed coordinates) at 08h30 and after a quick cuppa and rusk and a short orientation session we will commence the CITO. We hope to see you there!
Here is your opportunity if you have been eyeing this trail with all these caches on and have been waiting to do them in a group.
