碩果僅存小漁村
在香港漁業興盛的時候，馬灣涌村是東涌最繁華的漁村之一，隨著社會的持續發展、新屋村不斷的興建，馬灣涌村現在變成了一條小小的漁村。村內近海的房屋全是棚屋，除了民居之外，另有兩間海鮮酒家以及幾間士多，自成一格，與附近的新式大廈相映成趣。
從漁村可看到昂坪 360 纜車，景觀一流。沿海方向行去，會經過一條由水泥建成的橋，橋的左邊有小片紅樹林與泥灘，運氣好的話，會看見白露在此飛過或駐足休息；橋的右邊則是一間間以坤甸木支撐的棚屋。一直往前走是舊東涌碼頭，又是一處風景優美的駐足點，不少人到此邊釣魚邊欣賞迷人的美景。

The only remaining small fishing village
In Hong Kong, when the fishery flourished, Ma Wan Chung Village is one of the most prosperous fishing village of Tung Chung, with the continued development of society, constantly building new housing estates, Ma Wan Chung village now turned into a small fishing village. Offshore village houses are all shacks, except dwellings, and another two seafood restaurants and a few grocery stores, sui generis, side by side with the new building nearby.
It can be seen from the fishing village of Ngong Ping 360, a first-class landscape. Coastal direction to go, left by the cement will be built through a bridge, a small piece of mangroves and mudflats, good luck, you'll see the dew in this flying or stop to rest; the right of the bridge is a room with Kun Austin wooden shacks support. Straight ahead is the old pier in Tung Chung, is a scenic stop point, a lot of people this while fishing with stunning views.
