Virtual caches seem to me to be perfect for travelers, there's no
need for geo-trinkets and they give you a chance to learn more
about the landscape and history of the world around you. And even
locals can learn more about their homes by visiting site nearby
they might otherwise rush by.
This one's not exactly on the tour guide lists, but it is
interesting none the less. Locate this spot then e-mail me with the
name of the person with the earliest birthdate and his sobriquet. I
can find only slim mention of this person on the web, but he was
obviously well known at the time of his death. Stopping here can be
a reminder of the struggles and lives of the people who came before
us.
As always, don't reveal your answers here in your log, I'll confirm
your response after you email me. If possible, use this link to send
the email. Just remember to replace the # (Or use the Contact link
on my profile, above)
Remember, the reward is in the hunt and in your surroundings.
The map location here doesn't seem very accurate. I double checked
it with the mapping feature at LostOutdoors.Com and confirmed the
spot.
