Everyone brings their dogs geocaching, but cats are left at home and we don't bring them into this very much. Some geocachers have placed caches in honor of their pets. I now join their ranks.
I have two cats, Ginger and Heidi.
They are very frequently found together, but in the interests of making this a multi-cache, each of the containers is more than a tenth of a mile apart.
You may be surprised to learn that Heidi likes to hide. In fact, Heidi is very nervous around people, and once spent about a week and a half in our home when we thought she had gotten out. She also has claws and teeth. As such, I've placed for her a very small, well-hidden container in an area with thorns. The difficulty and terrain ratings are mostly for her part of the cache.
Ginger, on the other hand is a very friendly kitty and enjoys spending her time with humans. She is comfortable anywhere. As such, I've placed for her a regular sized lock 'n' lock in a place where I'm sure she'd be comfortable, if I would let her out of the house.
In a manner that does not match my experience with these sweethearts, you have to find Heidi to get to Ginger. Ginger has the log, Heidi has Ginger's coordinates. There is lots of room in the secondary container, although I don't offer anything to the FTF except bragging rights.
Please place back exactly as found. I may not be able to find Heidi again otherwise. If you think either stage is out of place, please send me a picture of where it is. I live nearby so maintenance will be easy. Hints may be offered after FTF, but not before.
