Sandy Banks LNR is a wildlife haven that would at one time have formed part of Sherwood Forest. It is an area of lowland dry acid grassland, a nationally rare habitat, and one of the few remaining wild sites within the City boundary. A great place to take a stroll and see butterflies, birds and wild plants.
