Welcome to Soddy Daisy.
The city of Soddy Daisy was formed in 1969 when the communities of Soddy and Daisy, along with nearby developed areas along US 27, merged to form Soddy-Daisy. The 1970 census showed a population of 7,569. By 2014, the population grew to 12,714. The town has a total area of 23.8 square miles. Within Soddy-Daisy, there are 3 elementary, 2 middle schools, and 1 high school. It is also home to Tennessee’s first (and only) outdoor charter school, Ivy Academy.
