This cache is situated within the birds estate of Ingleburn. Within Ingleburn there are many estates like the Cars estate and Names estate. Also within Ingleburn is the Historic Ingleburn Army Baracks and the Railway station which opened in 1869 with a single platform.
Some people say that the name Ingleburn was chosen because of a bend in the near by Georges River, and others say that it was named after a local house beloning to Mary Ruse, Daughter of James Ruse. Also the town was large enough to have its own council until 1948 when it merged with the City of Campbelltown council.
