It was early on a Saturday morning, 11-21-15, when my sister and I started our geocaching day. I took the back way to Wharton so I could find a cache in Pledger. I was also looking for a few hiding places to put my new nanos and bison tubes, and my cammo'd containers. While exploring, I discovered an old Baptist church, a small cemetery, several policemen, an inquisitive land owner, a very nice old black man, a young muggle white man who helped me in finding a cache that, no, we didn't find, but I may have recruited another "macher" (muggle cacher).
My sister has special needs and usually she stays in the geomobile while I'm doing all of my geocaching. She watches me and waits ever so patiently. I'm blessed in that respect and the fact that if she didn't come along with me because none of my caching buddies could, I'd be talking to myself!!
On this particular day, last minute plans to meet up for lunch with lil2busy were made and it was agreed upon to meet at 9ER'S Grill. I got there first, and spotted a place to hide a cache. I jumped out of my geomobile, popped open the back and retrieved a little nano especially for lil2busy. The placement was made before my good friend arrived, so that was a good thing. I was smiling inside, then a minute or so later, she pulls up, and the three of us head inside the restaurant for lunch. We had a nice visit and even learned something from each other about geocaching. Can you believe that I actually had something to share with lil2busy that she didn't know about and had been wanting.
I have to be honest here; I feel that a cache hidden in honor of someone should have some sort of special meaning or significance, or relate somehow to that person, but this little placement has neither, except that maybe once lil2busy stated that she either did or did not like finding or hiding this type of container. She can tell us in her log what that choice may be after she finds the cache. I'm hoping that she will be in town when this publishes so she will have the opportunity for a FTF along with everyone else. Good luck in the chase for FTFs and Smileys Ms. lil2busy.
