Experience the Northam/Clackline section of the Kep track geocache style
The Kep track is a long distance multi trail that follows the Kalgoorlie pipeline and old railway from Mundaring Weir to Northam, 75km further east.
The track is wide, well graded and there are no steep hills, which make it suitable for walkers, offroad cyclists and horse riders alike.
This Geocache series run along the Northam/Clackline section. It consists of one multi (this one to get you warmed up) ten traditional and one mystery cache. In each cache is a clue to the final mystery location and lock. Be sure to bring lots of water and watch out for snakes.
To complete this multi, park and make you way to the first waypoint. here you will find a trail information sign gather the required info to determine the next way point, here you will find a tag with the final coordinates
The information required from the sign is the Year of 'waiting for the rain' by Dryblower
The next waypoint is located at S 31 39.(Year - 1227) E 116 38.(Year - 1061)
The Cache is located at S 31 39.(tag) E 116 38.(tag). locate the tag for the final 6 digits
The cache is a 200ml Sistema with a guardian to remind you to watch out for the wildlife. Enjoy
