This staircase links target kloof to Highbeech Road in Mill Park.
It used to be an ideal spot for some good fitness training, but over the years was not maintained and has become quite overgrown. At some point, it was fenced off presumably because it had become a safety risk, and if one looks on Google Street View, this fence is still in position with barbed wire to prevent the use of the staircase. This is no longer the case, although the remanents of the fence foundations can be seen at the top, and it is currently used fairly frequently by pedestrians moving to and from work in Mill Park. The lighting along this path is not great at night so maybe someone needs to have a look at the electrical work.
The cache is located a short way down from the top of the staircase, and is easily accessible, however, the terrain is not good and the staircase uneven, so care is needed.
This cache is not recommended for night as the darkened staircase becomes a much more significant safety hazard.
