In the area for a tramp and check up on some caches. Today was the first time i have met Te Araroa trail hikers on this section of trail.. a total of 3 Germans, 2 French and a rare 1 kiwi all on a roll from Cape Regina. It is also a popular exercise track for locals.
Parking: Mt Tamahunga car park(best) or Rodeny road
Timing: Day time only, access to the reserve in which he caches are is via private land.
Cache: micro hanging, waterproof log
