I've known ncst8paddler for decades. He accompanied me on six caches in 2006, which was shortly after I started caching. Fast forward to 2014, he started caching again. We still cache together from time to time. We never run out of things to talk about during our hunts. I passed 100 caches long ago but I remember it was a big deal for me. Therefore, in honor of his 100th cache, I am placing this cache.
This is not a typical hide for me. I prefer to hide my caches in a location that requires a nice hike. However, I wanted to get this one placed fairly quickly and this location seem to need a cache. This one is more of Park & Grab. This cache is a bit tougher than my normal style. Because it is harder, the hint is a spoiler so no one should leave empty handed.
This cache is hidden in the Carroll Howard Johnson Environmental Education Park. The cache area is visible from the parking area and from the road; stealth will be required. The container is slightly smaller than a film canister (if you are old enough to remember film canisters) yet larger than a bison tube. The park is open from dawn to dusk. There is plenty of parking and a restroom building in the park. There is no room for a writing instrument so bring your own. Please return the cache as found. Watch out for muggles!
