Old Birch- Five Feet Left Traditional Cache

This cache is the conclusion (or the beginning) of the series between Prizer Road and Coventryville Road along the Horseshoe Trail. It is closest to Coventryville Road.

Birches appear earlier in the succession from field to forest than the climax hardwoods. We don't see too many in our immediate area. This one has seen better days. It is essentially dead, with just a 5-feet tall stump of a trunk remaining.
