Yūjō Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jtcoffee: I headed over today and saw the host has been pruned pretty severely - I am sure the container is off in the compost somewhere. This cache has been active for 10 years (!) and it feels like there should be something new here. Thanks to everyone who came to this cool spot - I hope to bring you back with another cache idea soon!

Geocache Description:

Welcome to a hidden gem on the edge of Seattle's International district: Kobe Terrace Park!

This park boasts many vistas of the Seattle skyline as well as Mt. Rainier on a clear day. As you walk up through the Danny Woo Community Garden, check out Mt Fuji cherry trees from Japan. At ground zero, enjoy a Yukimidoro stone lantern given to Seattle with the wish that it "sheds light on the friendship (Yūjō) between the peoples of Kobe and Seattle forever."

I recommend you take a seat to find this cache - not on a bench, but on the rock wall - and enjoy the beautiful view around you! A reach from the perfect seating location will grab you the cache.

A cool patch awaits the FTF-er.
