This is Waimauku's time to shine. It was screaming for a little gem to be hidden.
Waimauku was named by local Maori because of natural resources associated with the region. Wai means stream and Mauku being a variety of small ferns found in the region. According to local Maori tradition, the area was named because when the stream was in flood, only the tops of the cabbage tress were visible, resembling small ferns. A High stealth is required when locating this cache. Please return to original place carefully. HAPPY CACHING.
