Team Smokey: I went to check on this cache today and was absolutely appalled at the condition of the trails. They are in very poor shape. It is obvious that The Beekman Town Supervisor doesn't care about this park that was GIFTED to the town. The gates weren't even open. Why have a park that you don't maintain? The poor elderly dog walkers can't even get to the dog park! What a shame. I will not subject my fellow geocachers to this. Archiving cache. 😡

Geocache Description:

You start to play it... and it's like somebody's nightmare. Then suddenly, this woman comes on. Smiling at you, right? Seeing you... through the screen. Then when it's over, your phone rings. Someone knows you watched it. And what they say is, "You will die in seven days". And exactly seven days later...

This cache is placed on the mile long blue blazed nature trail loop. The trail loop starts/ends right near the entrance to the park (kiosk is on the left). Parking is available between the entrance and exit roads.

Dogs are allowed on the trail if they are kept on a leash and if you clean up after them.

Hunting is NOT allowed in the park, so this SHOULD be safe during hunting season. You should, of course, take appropriate caution just in case, as hunting used to be allowed here.

The park is open from dawn to dusk.
