.This cache is placed in honor of our granddaughter Harmony, who turned 4 months old on the day this cache was hidden. Harmony is a beautiful little girl, bursting with smiles. She is doted over by her big brothers, Willie and Jax. We suspect that their enthusiasm for geocaching might carry over through their influence to Harmony! She’s too young to have developed strong preferences, except for family attachments–but it’s abundantly clear that she enjoys cuddly things that she can hold and caress. So “Harmony’s Hugs” refers to the tiny soft teddy bears and pandas and soft dolls and similar items that can bring her comfort and enrich her early experiences.
HARMONY AT 4 MONTHS
The cache is hidden on Falcon Ridge, where we live. We manage the property as an active farm, as well as for wildlife habitat. The entire tract is permanently protected through two Conservation Easements that require you to reach the cache location by walking along our farm roads and across grassy fields–that is, you cannot drive directly to the cache site.
You have our permission to come onto the property to locate the cache. From Colorado Highway 1 drive west up Falcon View Drive and park in front of the open (or closed) green gate at the coordinates given below for Parking. For purposes of the sign near the highway, you are our “Guest”. From parking, walk west along the tree-shaded farm road a short distance to a metal barn. Turn left just before this building and walk south across fields to the cache location. No smoking is allowed on Falcon Ridge, per common sense and per stipulations of the Conservation Easements. Access is restricted to daylight hours. Enjoy your time at this special place, and watch for the many birds and deer that frequent these habitats! Do NOT attempt to approach the cache from the south or west. Such approaches would result in trespass across neighbors’ properties.
