Geocache Description:

This cache is my daughter's first hide.  It should be a quick suburban drive-by with enough room for some small swaps.  

Please note the proximity of private dwellings and exercise a suitable level of stealth.

This little path is a section of the Heatherdale to Syndal Pipe Reserve Trail, a walking and cycling trail above a water pipe easement.  Apart from a few breaks (including one between Mitcham Rd and Rooks Rd), it links Syndal Railway Station with Brunswick Rd, near Heatherdale Railway Station.  Successive state and local governments haven't yet managed to develop this into a proper bike trail. So far this just remains a pipe dream.

The cache is a 200ml Sistema container with a log book, pen, and a few small swaps - including a gold coin for FTF.  GZ is relatively secluded but expect the occasional muggle passing through.  Muggles approaching from the East can arrive without much warning due to the trees situated to the East of GZ, but you should have plenty of time to detect muggles approaching from the West.   Note that there is a window overlooking GZ so some stealth may be required.

There should be parking available on either Creek Rd or Percy St.  Kids might like the small playground on the pipe reserve one block away to the East.
