Welcome to Cape Breton

The Canso Causeway offically opened to car traffic on May 20, 1955.  In the summer months this is a very busy area with people often stopping to see boats go through the causeway.   For more interesting facts on the Causeway, please see the attached photo.  Enjoy the area.
