Geocache Description:

DO NOT park on 245 to find this cache as this is unsafe and will make it more difficult than it needs to be.  A public trail that stays maintained can be found if you park on 47.  The trail goes up a hill.  Since another geocache is too close to Squaw Rock itself, pass Squaw Rock (on the right at the top of the hill) and continue down the trail and down a short deer trail.

From Squaw Rock, you can see one of the two Piatt Castles.  It is said an Indian girl watched a war from this rock.  Please take pictures of the rock so we can see it throughout the seasons.  Feel free to sit on it, too, just be respectful of the area.

Squaw Rock of Indian Legend sits Shawnee Village Mac-A-Cheek and home of Chief Moluntha - Destroyed 1786 By Col. Logan - Simon Kenton gauntlet ran in 1778
