This cache is one of a series in the Harold A. King forest in Swampscott, MA. It is a nice hike for the whole family and the cache is well stocked with little toys.
Parking for the trail head can be found on Nichols Street and there is an orange blazed trail to lead your way (a smaller but still blazed trail will break off to the left shortly after the parking lot). The cache is a liter waterbottle that has been well camouflaged, but is in clear view without moving anything. The Harold A. King forest is beautiful and lightly used piece of conservation land. It is very peaceful and serene with a pond, marsh, harwood forest, and many glacial erratics. The trails here forms a loop approximately a mile in length and were established by a local Boy Scout. The trails are a bit rough so take care with your footing. Be observant of the blazes or the trail can disappear on you. Take some time to explore this cool area!
