In our experience, the road to the parking area where this cache is located is not always regularly plowed, and in periods of deep snow you may need to park by Highway 53 and walk in or risk your vehicle getting stuck in deep snow. If you do end up needing to park by the road, it shouldn't be too far of a hike to the parking area.
