Geocache Description:

Springfield Hill is a newer segment on the Ice Age Trail.   This trail opened in October of 2014.  From the parking lot / trail head, it's about a two mile loop around the trail.

This section of the trail is nicknamed 'The Oak Room' because of the number of oak trees surrounding the trail.  There's been significant restoration work done in this area to remove the many invasives from this section to open up the area to the native oak trees.

Springfield Hill is part of the Dane County Park System.  This loop of the Ice Age Trail is great for snowshoeing in winter, but the hide might be harder to find if there's a decent amount of snow.

Looking for a 2 qt lock 'n lock container.
