Not so long ago there were many geocaches on this mountain. Unfortunately, due to newly posted "No Trespassing" signs near the trailhead and along the trail, we (myself and travelnbhappy21) were forced to retrieve and archive the old caches. Now, thanks to Mrs. travelnbhappy21 spending some time on the phone with the land owners, we have permission to be on this property!

The major issues the landowners have are hunters and people dumping their trash along the trail. Although we can't do anything about the hunters, we can help out with the trash issue. Since we now have permission to hike here from the landowners, please show your appreciation by trying to take out one small piece of trash with you when you leave in an effort to help clean the area up a bit and as a thank you to the landowners for granting us permission to be here.
The cache:
In order to make this a bit tougher to find, I'm not going to say much about what you are looking for. What I will say is that the previous cache that was hidden here by travelnbhappy21 had us coming back approximately three times before we found it. Luckily, I live only a few hundred feet from the trailhead so the multiple trips to GZ were not an issue. I put some work into this container in order to make it (hopefully) equally as tough to find as the container that was previously here. When you write your "found it" (or even your DNF) log here on the website, please take a moment to include a short thank you to travelnbhappy21. Without their efforts, we wouldn't be allowed on this land. I hope you enjoy searching for this container as much as I enjoyed searching for the original.
**There are "No Trespassing" signs on the trailhead and along the trail; however, as previously mentioned, we have permission from the landowners to be on this property as long as we are not hunting or dumping trash. Please be respectful when on this property and enjoy the search!!!
