Bellevue Heights Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

papazulu: I went here today to replace the container which was taken by the last finder. The undergrowth has grown so much here since it was placed that the rocks were not accessible without loppers. It doesn't make sense to replace this one so I'll archive it.

Geocache Description:

Camo peanut jar hidden in a classic geocache location.

I was going to place a micro up here by the water tower but when I came up here I found a good place for a slightly larger cache container. So, I made the container but didn't really have any swag so I'm starting it off with a TB I picked up on my way back home from Arizona earlier this month. This road is closed and you'll need to park either at the end of Woods Avenue or you can access the cache location from Maryland Avenue. You may run into folks up here taking a jog or walking the dog. I like to walk the dog up here sometimes, and the view is quite nice up on the hill.

The cache is hidden under some rocks, just up the hill from the trail/road. There is no need to approach the fence at the top of the hill by the water tower. I would not recommend this at night simply due to the proximity of the water tower, but there is no rule against it and this is not private property. It will be much more difficult if there is snow.

Congrats to TeamBKL for the FTF.
