lorriebird: Although I have layovers in GRU often enough to keep this cache properly maintained, the location has just proven to be too problematic. I’ve moved it three times over the years to no avail and it is missing yet again. It’s just too busy a location. Sorry to cachers, I tried hard to keep this cache available for quick airport layovers and am sorry to see it go after 8 years. Thank you to all visitors.

Ah, São Paulo! Por vezes o aeroporto de Guarulhos parece ser uma segunda casa para mim, pois estou aqui várias vezes por mês. Perto do hotel existe um Oásis Urbano, um trilho para caminhadas muito agradável acessível a todos. A qualquer hora do dia encontrará caminhantes, corredores, ciclistas e pais empurrando carrinhos de bebé ao longo de uma alameda arborizada. Também é habitual encontrar alguém aprendendo a andar de skate. Chegou o momento de incluir o Geocaching nas atividades possíveis de praticar neste local! É zona é muito popular, por isso seja muito discreto na sua busca. Dê uma bela camnhada e encontre uma cache!

 

English:

Ah, Sao Paulo!  At times the GRU airport seems to be a second home as I am here several times per month.  Near the hotel is an Urban Oasis, a nice walking trail accessible to all.  At any time of day you will find walkers, joggers, riders, and parents pushing strollers along a pretty tree lined boulevard.  You will usually spot someone learning to skate.  It is time to add Geocaching to the location!  This area is very popular, so please exercise stealth while searching.  Take a nice walk and find a cache!
