This is an area were Mowgli can go and reflect on his days adventures whilst enjoying the lake veiw.
This series of caches has beenset up as my grey wolf badge for cub scouts. the grey wolf badge is basedon my knowledge of the jungle book which is the base for cub scouts around the world. in 2016, cub scouts turn 100 and for the entire time being based on the jungle book.
the bookwas written by Rudyard Kipling and in 1916 Bayden Powell started using the jungle book as the theme to cubs.
The jungle book is a story of a small boy (Mowgli) being left in the jungle. Mowgli was found by a wolf pack where he was raised by the akela wolf (pack leader). The animals of the jungle which all had names ( which is where cub leaders get their names) help raise Mowgli and showed him how to enjoy life and learn life skills. Mowgli learnt how to respect everything and everyone in the jungle. They allowed Mowgli to fail and succeedin his adventures. But more important they tort him to always to do your best at everything he tried
I'm hoping that many cub pack take up the challange to find my caches. just like Mowgli learning to enjoy and respect the bush and all its creatures great and small, to challenge yourself and do your best.
