Are you stumped over a particular puzzle cache? Are you tearing your hair out trying to figure out where to start? Do you lie awake at night with endless fruitless solutions swimming around your brain? Then this event may be just what you are looking for!!
Come along, join your fellow geocachers and together try to solve some of the many puzzle caches out there that confound us. Some attendees might like to post the puzzle cache they would like to work on in their “Will Attend” log. If they choose, other attendees can then indicate what group they would like to join.
There are a few rules I would like event participants to adhere to:
1. If in attendance, the puzzle cache owner or anyone who has solved a particular puzzle cache cannot offer any solutions, advice or hints on how to solve the particular puzzle the group is working on.
2. Once a solution to a puzzle is found, it must not be shared with other event attendees who did not work on that particular puzzle.
3. No solutions to puzzles are to be communicated through any online format.
Details:
Location: West Pennant Hills Sports Club
Address: 103 New Line Rd, Cherrybrook
Date: Monday, 25th January, 2016
Time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Dress: Smart casual – Normal club dress rules apply including footwear.
WiFi: Free WiFi is available so bring along your devices to help you in your quest.
Catering: There is a brasserie for meals as well as a variety of coffees and cake available, as well as the bar. If you intend enjoying a meal, it’s probably a good idea to come earlier so you are fuelled up and ready to put your brains to work at 7:30pm.
What to Bring: Cache printouts, laptops, iPads, puzzle books, writing pads and pens, anything that you think will help you find solutions.
** Just a reminder that if you live within 5km (as the crow flies) of the club, you must be signed in by a club member. At the moment, I am not a member but if you are in this situation, then I’m happy to join, (or perhaps you are.) Just let me know.
There are many cachers out there, like me, with the same problems when it comes to puzzle caches so why not come together for an evening where we can pool our knowledge and resources, share our frustrations and try and come up with some solutions.
I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
Cheers,
Calypso62
