A Captivating Christmas Story Mystery Cache

The Cache Is Not At The Posted Coordinates! At Christmas time the tree here is lit but to find the real cache location you must solve the puzzle below. The Cache is located on private property with the owner's permission, please no need to leave the sidewalk to find the cache, it can be accessed from the sidewalk. Also the cache may not be available right after a snow storm. Traffic is often heavy on the road so please be careful exiting and entering vehicles.

A Christmas Story is by far our family's favorite holiday movie. We watch it every year and many of us can quote it verbatim. Our love for this movie can at times border on obsession. A Christmas Story gifts have shown up under many a family Christmas tree. In past years family members have received Red Ryder BB guns and adult size pink bunny footie PJs. One year my brother in law received a full size leg lamp replete with shipping crate. The lamp is proudly displayed in his living room and the shipping crate is his end table. Several summers ago we drove out to Chicago and on the way home we stopped to visit the house used for exterior shots in Cleveland, if you're interested it's at 3159 W 11th St. Cleveland, OH. We felt the need to spread our love for A Christmas Story by sharing it with all our caching friends!                              

Now for the puzzle, the cache is hidden at N 42 AB.CDE W 71 FG.HIJ To find the numbers required to solve the puzzle you may or may not need to watch the movie but we recomend watching it anyway. Nothing like watching this smile inducing movie before hunting down this smiley!
