Geocache Description:

Dayton, Ohio is a great place to live, and a beautiful city with lots of interesting things to offer. That being said, sometimes when the daily routine becomes dull and we want to break out of our mold, it's natural to wish we were Anywhere But Dayton, Ohio. Hence, the ABDO series, focused on geography and travel. We want to put forward a series of caches based on other regions of the world.

This is a puzzle cache, so it is NOT located at the posted coordinates.

Although we are 100% American, texasdevils lived in Germany for several years. While there, we had the amazing opportunity to travel all over the continent. Can you identify some of the places we saw? As the title of this cache suggests, the images here are limited to Southern Europe.

Some of these photos may feature less widely-known sites; that’s by design. In the age of Google searches and other geocaching “force-multipliers” a hider must get creative in order to make a puzzle challenging. For that reason, none of our photos are swiped from the internet – they’re all directly from the family travel photo album.

A few other notes. If asked to translate a letter into a number, A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. and so forth.

No need to include definitive articles like “the” in your answers. Just one word is enough!

The final coordinates are at: AB degrees CD.EFG HI degrees JK.LMN
