I have driven by here many times and I finally had the time to stop and check this area out.
This road was used in the past to get between 16 Rd and 20 Mile Rd, but has since fell into disuse. Only local farmers use it now to access their property. However, this bridge has also fallen into disuse, with barriers on either side to prevent access. I am not sure if the bridge was deemed unsafe, or the locals just didn't want anybody to go down the road and get their cars stuck in the mud, as so many of us have done.
In accessing this cache, there is no need to go on the bridge. The cache can be retrieved from the "safe" side of the barriers.
Also, since there is a nearby house, please NO NIGHT CACHING! We don't want to cause any concerns from the locals.
