5 Years of Caching Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

HarpingMcCartan: Now that the last TBs have been 'picked up' from the event, it's good for archiving.
Looking forward to seeing folks next time I'm back over in the Emerald Isle

Geocache Description:

A meet & greet event near to my hometown to celebrate my 5th anniversary of discovering Geocaching.
There will be cake!
(also trackables to swap/pass on)
Hopefully the weather will be nice enough to allow a wander through the forest afterwards (cache-hunting included).

Event will run from 11.15 - 12.00

As I will be home for a short while before Christmas, in order to see the parents, I thought it would be good to also meet up with some of the local cachers - or anyone else travelling through the area.

I first discovered Geocaching quite by chance in 2010 and, although it took me a good few years until I actually found my first cache (due to a number of reasons), I thought it would be nice to celebrate the day that my 'addiction' started!laugh

Please feel free to bring along any nibbles/sandwiches you wish to enjoy. Cake(s) will be provided for all.

The meet & greet (and of course cake) part of the event will run from 11.15 - 12.00 on the grassy lawn just by the main carpark in Tollymore Forest Park (original suggested times 11.00-13.00). Afterwards, those who would like to join me in a walk along some of the forest paths (and a hunt for some caches) are more than welcome to do so.

I will be bringing a number of trackables across with me - some to pass on & others to discover.
