A favorite swimming hole for farmers and local kids in the not-too-distant past. Still had a rope swing when we moved to the area in 2000.
Had overgrown and sedimented during long drought (2005-2011). Council has recently restored the pond and banks and is a nice place to sit and spot birds and our local lizards (eastern water dragons).
A quiet section of Williams Park and a good spot to park and pick up the series in this area. Popular with people walking their dogs but enough clear area with line of sight to see anyone approaching to change tactics. Bring Geohound(s) or mountain bike and explore the area. Flat ground and some footpaths.
