At this location you will find one of Oak Ridge’s two disc golf courses. For any of you not familiar with the sport, disc golf is much like regular golf but played with discs (similar to Frizbees), and the “holes” are above-ground nets.
The cache is located along the course boundary, near the first tee-box. A ferrous lure is required to retrieve the container (see first picture in the photo gallery for an example). If you failed to bring your own, close examination will reveal an appropriate “fishing lure” mere inches from the cache.
Please observe orientation information on the container. Improper orientation could allow water intrusion and make the cache difficult to retrieve.
