Upon arriving in the North Island, I was intrigued to discover the game of disc or frisbee golf. This game is virtually unheard of down South.
I challenged the teenager to a game and proceeded to beat him by a very wide margin! I even offered to give him a handicap - that suggestion was met with a frosty stare!
I think he was quite pleased to line up for the 9th hole!
The course at the Hikoikoi Reserve is a well maintained 9 hole/basket course. It is very challenging in the wind!
