Centennial Lakes Park is a wonderful family location in the heart of Edina, all four seasons of the year. Come and walk the dogs, admire the sculptures or simply laze on the lawn under the summer sun. Otherwise bring your ice skates because this place turns into a magical winter wonderland in the colder months (and don't forget to finish with hot chocolate in the lodge afterwards!).
This is a small-sized cache in a location that should remain accessible all year round (bar only the most severe Minnesota winter storms). Muggle foot traffic is high at times so take standard precautions.
IMPORTANT: Please note you do NOT need to trample on any of the nearby garden or damage any landscaping to access this cache. Take care if conditions are icy and look after our beautiful parkland.
Bonus points if you can work out the source of this geocache's name!
Congrats on the FTF to agate mickey and Holy Strollers! And thank you also for the kind comments. PS, agate mickey makes a good point regarding the terrain rating. It's quite dependent on conditions - particularly if wet or icy. I've raised the terrain rating a notch to reflect this.
