It is with great pleasure that I dedicate this nine cache series to my caching buddy manezinha. Manezinha epitomizes the best characteristics of a consummate Geocacher. She is honest, sharing and adventurous. She routinely replaces missing or damaged containers as well as log sheets and books that are wet, missing or full. She logs honest and helpful comments. She is a Team player when it comes to going after the “tough ones”.
We began our joint caching adventures on 9 June 2012 by finding Raha’s First Cache in Khalifa City A. It was her 1st and my 17th. Over three years and a half years later, we have cached together in 13 different countries collecting 911 caches together; several of them “extreme” adventures. This nine cache series represents our favorite cites.
Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its picturesque 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. Beyond such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century, Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral, the city is known for its cafe culture, and designer boutiques along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
The cache is a small lock and lock container wrapped in a black/brown sock located NEAR a covered rest stop along the 117K Dubai Cycle Course located near the Bab Al Shams Resort and Spa. A copy of the bike route is provided, as well as a spoiler. A “Geocaching in the Arabian Peninsula” geocoin goes to the FTF.
The cache is accessible with a 2WD. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ON THE CYCLE TRACK and steer wide of cyclists.
