Sisters Traditional Cache

This cache is to be found at a suburban location and is readily accessed from public right of way.  It is very well shielded from the elements.   It should be a quick P&G even for the novice.  Visiting during daylight hours is recommended as the use of a flashlight after dark will almost certainly attract attention.

This cache is located near the main entrance of Franciscian Courts.  This is the retirement home of The Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, a Roman Catholic womans religious order. Historically, sisters have been known in the Oshkosh area primarily for their involvement in healthcare, having established the first hospital in Oshkosh more than a century ago.  Their active involvement in the management and delivery of healthcare in the Oshkosh area continued until very recently.

The cache is located outside the low brick wall the stands outside of the building. Please do not approach the building or bother the residents or staff. The cache log is located in a container hiding in plain sight among other items of a similar nature.  Some of these items may hold some interest for you and may be removed for further examination,  Please return them after a reasonable time.  You may wish to leave a similar item or two at a future visit.  Please note that no other swag should be left.  Please note that the logbook is a reserve item and does not "circulate".  Please return it to the location where you found it.   If the log book appears to be damaged or appears to have gone "walk about" , please make a maintenance note in the log, and the CO will address the issue.   Note that the cache site is visited by muggles on a regular basis and your presence should be completely unnoticed.  A fair number of the residents and staff are geocaching "aware".  The cache has bee placed tith the knowledge, and permission of the facility administrator.
