Of course "Zona arqueológica lomo de los gatos" should have a cache because it's a very interesting place and we were planning to place a cache in the area in March 2015. But we did not plan to put it inside the area, because we have learnt in our home country that:
- It's not allowed to place a cache close to an archaeological site.
- It's not recommended to place a cache somewhere inside a fence where you have to pay to get in to log it. (4 Euros isn't that much, but maybe the geocacher has a big family?)
- It's not allowed to place a cache without the landowner's knowledge and permission.
- And we are not going to pay for a week "at the Cordial Mogan hotel" to get in for free.....
So for those of you who come to Mogan and think it's not THAT interesting to go inside or maybe it's a matter of principle: Here's a small cache hidden outside the fences...... And you may read a lot of interesting stuff while you search for it as well
