A series of caches meant to provide a little information about my favourite equine - the donkey:-) All of the donkeys in the photos on the cache pages can be found living nearby at The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada.
Donkeys can be fussy about their water:-) Some will only drink out of a bucket, some a trough. Some like it hot, some like it cold. Some have even been known to refuse water that did not come from the source that they are used to drinking from (so taking water along when travelling was necessary). Water troughs should be kept topped up and cleaned daily in order to encourage drinking, and heated buckets should be used in the winter months in order to prevent freezing.
Not a picky drinker at all!
