While out searching for nearby geocaches on this rather warm/sunny December day, came across this cemetery. There used to be a cache placed here a long time ago, but was archived for whatever reason. Thought that this site could benefit from another cache placement.
Nice little cemetery with plenty of parking. Explored a little bit.
As for cache placement, coordinates will place you center-mass of the entrance gate. It is up to you, the wiley geocaching adventurer that you think you are, to figure out where that container is located (somewhere "vertical"). Should be a quick enough find for some, maybe little difficult for others. May be considered a P&G, or not!! Leaving the original D/T ratings for this cache, though it may be easier to find now that the trees are gone.
To get to this cemetery, probably the easiest route would be to travel north/south on KS Hwy 15 south of Abilene, KS. At the intersection of 1900 Ave, turn east and travel until you cross an iron bridge and then come to the intersection with Indy Road. Cemetery will be on SW corner of intersection.
This is a cemetery so observe any/all rules/regulations that may be posted and that we all have read on other page write-ups concerning these types of locations.
You should be searching for a PILL BOTTLE hanging from a tree branch roughly MID-SHIN high.
NOTE: August 31, 2019 - visited site for maintenance check. Container was missing, so replaced.
UPDATE: August 14, 2021 - Maintenance visit and found container on ground. Placed new container/log.
UPDATE: January 23, 2022 - Original hiding location destroyed/removed. Found a suitable spot. May be an easier find now but keeping original D/T ratings so as not to interfere with geocachers attempts at trying to fill in a "fizzy" grid.
