Setting up this geocache was fun. This is my first cache and I wanted to put it somewhere in the in the bush.
This geocache is located down a number of seasonally-maintained roads and trails between Temagami and New Liskeard. The location of the geocache is approximately 8kms down dirt and gravel roads. Turning down Red Squirrel Road, you will follow mapped roads. You'll take a few turns (follow the bear) and you'll have to follow unmapped roads. Plan your journey. Once you've reached the old gravel pit, you know you're on the right path. The cache will be accessible in the summer by road and by foot and can still be accessed in the winter most of the way by vehicles with snow tires and 4wd, and the rest of the way snow machine, and/or pair of snowshoes. Located in the wilderness, this cache contains some small survival items.
